Huh, some RRF peeps are trying to get rid of Ron's portrayal of the Battle of Blackmore... Perhaps you should vote?

Not get rid of it, just get another version for the historical one. I think the article itself is fine as is, I'd just rather have something like Caiger sieges or Battle of Santlerville to describe the events as an historical record. Then certainly link to Burgandy's portrayal of it from the survivor side for the narrative side of things.

I said that there should be a zombie version and a survivor version, both historical. But Jorm mocked me. Is sad.

Zombies are just lazy. That and the fact that (I guess?) they were owned in that battle. You can't write a subjective positive-ish article about that. They probably have erased most of the memories from that event off their minds already xD

Thats because jorm doesn't want fun things on the wiki. He'd much rather have a bunch of MOB guys come to the wiki, make an account, then make a single edit, and guess where that edit is?

You're surprised? At the time it was written it was a large shot at the RRF, it even accuses the RRF of using PKers and alts.

You guys don't use PKers?
So Goolina is just a mild mannered English teacher?

I could be wrong, but I thought the RRF's use of PKers was a recent thing, and why the MOB broke off.
Anyway, countering propaganda with more propaganda doesn't help people to understand the truth, it just obscures it further. The Battle of Santlerville is a very good case of a well-documented survivor battle written fairly. A new reader gets a clear understanding of what actually happened. Someone not involved in UD for a very long time doesn't understand The Battle of the Bear Pit or Battle of Blackmore. It's not that they aren't good articles, it's that they aren't good historical articles.

I've got the answer! We have one survivor based, for fun reading, one zombie based, for same reasons, and then one truly NPOV one, for factual goodness! Sound any good?

Wait, are you serious?

well, yeah, a wiki about a text based game should be taken very seriously and should be as historically accurate as possible, because, years from now when they make a movie out of the battle of blackmore, we're going to need people going on the wiki to point out all the historical inaccuracies about the movie.

Yah, I'm serious. It's just a variation of my original idea, anyway. EDIT: Hey Fang, can I put that on the wiki?

Yay! That was the inspiration, but I figured they'd still shoot it down, so I added the NPOV part.
