I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate claims ( made out as fact) that Ghetto Cow used alts, zergs, and bots, especially since you ( and everyone else) know that its not true Feth, if we weren't ending, I'd love that sort of attention. Negative publicity is still publicity, and I've spent my UD career (hey, that's an oxymoron!) on creating publicity for GC. And the idea of a 'bot rat is hawt. But I guess you sorta have a point. Vaguely. Which is why I wanted a zombie version of that article, cuz there's nothing like baseless accusations to spice up history. |

yea, that would actually be a great solution ( the twin articles, not the suicide) though it brings the issue back to the slander of the groups. At the time I'm sure it helped to convince survivors to go and fight, but even the author has acknowledged that it's not true, so its not a perspective thing. Some of it ( the spying and all around cheating it says we did) should be edited out. I mean, it'll still be a great read even after that small change. It can certainly stand on its own merits as an entertaining recollection of the event without outright lying to putdown the opposition, no?

honestly, I'd only change the bit about being proud of every RRF spy ( or something similar to that). The RRF didn't/ doesn't use spys, and death culting was limited to a small group. Seems trivial, but its pretty important and not a large change. I mean, if there are going to be two articles, then yea, I don't see how changing that small bit will take away from the epicness that was Ron. Though it should be known that I have no authority whatsoever and only speak for my various alts littered throughout Malton. Others may not like the dual article idea, or have other grievances.

No. Not necessarily. The original problem lay with the official article being so badly slanted. With the two being official i think you'll appease some people. Though personally I'd still rather the one NPOV article, but the dual articles may be a more realistic option seeing how many against votes are nothing more then "I don't like you"
