Welcome to the NMC forums. You want organized chaos then you want the Malton Rangers salamanca. Of course I may be a bit biased, we also have some crazy librarians and the like around these fine forums. But if you find yourself interested in the Rangers just shoot me a PM.

Greetings, fellow humans! I am Stranghill Olganis, the consumer with gun-skills.
I just got recruited by some character called Nathan Wild in Fort Perryn, Pennville. Not quite sure what I do now, but I figured posting here is the best place to start. (I haven't actually joined a group yet, not quite sure what to enter as the name). So, Nathan, whatever your screen name is on here, if you could tell me what the hell I do now (or just say it in-game) than that'd be cool.

Welcome to the NMC stranghill. Nathan is an alter ego of Padre Romero I believe, who is the leader of the Malton Angels. I'm sure he'll be along to sort you out shortly.

and not a bit too soon you seemed the logical type, so I thought I'd invite you to this font of class... so, you want to be an angel eh? post anywhere on the forum, figure out your angle, where you want to be? I might reccomend scarletwood, most of our kind flock to the angell building out there.
All you need to do to join is alter your profile...put "Malton's Angels" in the group box.

One man with a driven need joined the Military without any intention of remaining with it..he bided his time, bested basic training and obnoxious officers, rose through the ranks through devious bureaucratic manipulation, and enthusiastic example. The day he awaited finally came: preferred choice of assignment. He choose Malton tour duty. Leading his chopper convoy, he waited till they had gone deep into the city. A smoke grenade appeared out of nowhere, seemingly thrown from below with inhuman strength and accuracy. It was a makeshift one too, of incredible strength. Minutes passed, when it was clear enough to see more than a foot ahead, the crew noticed their leader was missing...a funeral was held and he was remembered as a good friend, dignified officer, exemplary leader, and many other things. Other things missing were hand-held nitrojets and jumper boots from a surplus warehouse, among other small supplies. But nobody noticed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Adrenaline devouring his arteries, he landed on an empty street at midday, clouds overhead dark and menacing. All was quiet, but fresh pools of blood and smears that bespoke of dragged victims freshly jugulared brought back the images and briefings he'd pored over in the past few years: "Malton blockaded for all our sakes, including theirs..." "A soldier without back-up wouldn't survive a few hours in there..." "Survivors seem to be holding out, but that is a farce, necrotech personnel within the barriers work day and night to revive those killed by their own neighbors, spouses, and children.." "Large centers of commerce seem to be the most populated..." He had brought no weapons, choosing to match the inhabitants, savagery for savagery, tooth and claw, manic strength against his indomitable will and gift for improvisation. He glanced around, saw a fire station with its doors blasted open, smoke wafting out on an invisible breeze, bringing with it the scent of putrefacation. There were many bodies inside, piled against the wall. Written in blood above them, scrawled as if by a child the single word: BARHAH! Ignoring them he dug around the accumulated debris, finding a gleaming fire axe, never used. With determination and fire in his eyes he set out for the nearest Mall, 2 kilometers distant...
That's my story. I've just joined the Malton Rangers, ready to serve wherever I can be of assistance. The greatest joys in my life are 60%+ spirits, serenading the rest of you on my 12-string, and head-shotting the verve-less corpses out there.
