Best game upgrade ever, and like the flak jacket you can still use your pony after you die. And since spam always requires a shameless plug. Join the QuartlyStudyGroup, librarians with class. It could be the best zombie food ever.

I'm all for the chainsaw. and make it a two-shot kill, cuz it takes a minute to saw through a neck. It could be found dangling at the end of a necklace on a pony.

Chainsaws hung around centaurs neck. Centaurs on leashes being walked by midgets. Munchkins riding centaurs shoulders, or standing on horns hooting and hollering to invigorate the crowd.

My name, or rather my character names that are most relevant here are Von Luthius and Ram Rock Ed First.
Von Luthius is a member of the now inactive (for the time being at least) Original Council of Leaders, was the Creator and Leader/Conductor of the Malton lonely hearts Club Big Band and has fought everywhere imaginable in this city in the 18 months I've been playing this fantastic game (yes, that means early August 2005, a month after UD was released).
Von Luthius's name was used after I wrote the Barricade Run of Ridleybank from inside The Blackmore Building for the use of anybody participating in the siege of the Blackmore Building by the Blackmore Bastards Brigade and Co. several months ago. This barricade run is available for viewing on The Blackmore Bastards Wiki page on the Urbandead Wikipedia.
Ramn Rock Ed First is the illustrious leader of The Gingerbread Men. For those of you whop don't remember or weren't there, I'll refresh your memories on the Candyland Operation of February 2006:
I wrote in late 2005, a Barricade run of Ridleybank, approaching the suburb from both the east and west, a barricade run designed to EHB the entire suburb of Ridleybank within several minutes with only 46 people running its' entire length.
Everybody under the sun, even some of our so called allies included, said it was impossible, tantamount to suicide, and that I, and the Gingerbread men were stupid to even try something as crazy as that.
The end result was that three months later, the run still hadn't been done because we simply couldn't get the extra 20 or so people to run the remaining runs with us. The only reason we were able to do it in the first place was because I personally knew Doctor Putz/Hobel of the CDF who had taken a large base of command at the time whilst Cowboy Up moved house half way across the country (The U.S. anyways).
And when it was finally run on the 22nd February 2006, in just under 10 minutes, the entire suburb of Ridleybank was EHB, barring 3 entry points at VSB+2.
And suddenly people woke up to the fact that you actually COULD strike at the heart of the zombie populace and make a difference. Anyways, The Gingerbread Men were the first major group to survive for an extended period of time in the heart of Ridleybank. Do not misunderstand survival and conquering - we didn't conquer the suburb, we survived, for 16 days, before getting bored of constantly rebarricading/reviving/healing and moved on to a breif stint of fun as The Gingerbraaains zombie hoard. We're back alive again and have been for several months as we promised. It must be stated that just because none of us Gingers understand how to properly use the wiki doesn't mean that the group is not being run still, and just because we haven't done anything major on a political scale in a while means nothing, we are still around. That said, where is the user manual to the UD Wiki? I'd LOVE to know how to work that thing.
Anyways, I'm rambling, the GBM Operation candyland Barricade Plan is available on the GBM Wiki page (in need of serious updating - will be done sometime...), along with the re-naming of the suburb as The Candyland including the graffitti run of the suburb we ran at the same time with the operation.
So, this is me.
Any questions?
Von Luthius, Librarian of the Quartly Study Group.
P.S. Other characters of mine include Squidgey (Leader of The League of Extraordinary Mordheimers - one of the oldest formally recognised groups of the game as per the original Urbandead Forums); The Friendly Zombie; Princess Leia; Fredddy C and many, many more wandering here and there occasionally.

Nice to have you around! This should help you methinks: wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Help:ContentsI didnt bother to read all that, as I'm pretty familiar with the GBM (they inspired the somewhat succesfull sleepovers), but if you got any other questions, ask away.

I'd like a pony to. I'm saying add a chainsaw instead of fire axe, just a flavor issue A Pony. Nah, I want a pogo stick, or a parachute. Yes a parachute is the bomb: It gives you a 5% chance of surviving jumping out of a window from a tall building. Would be so fucking awesome. As to the chainsaw, I always thought it would be cool to have one too, but it would have to work differently. think for a second, it is run on fuel, not a permanently sharpened blade. Perhaps a Chainsaw uses up a fuel can, and you get a random amount of hacks with it before you run out, perhaps anywhere between 1 and 10. It does 4 points of damage per hit as a melee weapon, but also has the interesting option of being able to be used by a zombie, with the nasty side effect that there is a chance that the zombie, not being too skilled with weapons, will hit themselves instead. This gives zombie players something cool as well as survivors, because it just simply rocks hacking someone with a chainsaw when you are undead. My personal item I'd love to see (so as to give Museums a use!) is a Suit of Armour. Melee attack's from hand held weapons do 1 point less of damage when they strike you. Non-melee held weapons are unaffected as a punch, grab or bite can be directed at the vulnerable joints/straps of the arnour much more easily. This is lso a game balance issue. However, due to the excessive weight of the armour, all movement actions use up twice the AP, so a surviver in Armour would move at 2 AP, a standard zombie Without Lurching Gait would move at 4AP, whilst a zombie with lurching gait would move at 2AP per movement. As an addition, if you are wearing a Suit of Armour, you cannot also wear a flak jacket. This makes you choose whether to prtect yourself against guns or hand weapons. Look at it from thepoint of view that a suit of armour fits to your body with little to no clothing apart from a brief tunic underneath. As to strapping a jacket across your armour, look at it from the point of view that it wouldn't cover enough of the armour as well, and possibly restrict movement. So, in summary, A Suit of Armour, found at Museums:
Melee attack's from hand held weapons do 1 point less of damage when they strike you. However, due to the excessive weight of the armour, all movement actions use up twice the AP to carry out. As an addition, if you are wearing a Suit of Armour, you cannot also wear a flak jacket, and vice versa. So What do you guys think of that?

Sleepovers? Please explain, thanks. That said, thankyou for the wiki help stuff, I've been asking ingame for so long now I thought no one would bother telling me. Should be a great help when modifying/updating the now quite dated info on the GBM Page. Just one quick question: What does NPov and Pov mean in Wiki discussion posts?
