Alexander found his way to Malton on a train. In fact, it was one of the last trains to enter Malton. He would have departed on time and avoided his time in the apocalyptic hellhole, but for the rye.
During his train ride he drank an entire bottle of Hirsch authentic Canadian rye at Barrens row rail station, and got thrown off the train for trying to fight the conductor. Unfazed, he found a decent hotel nearby in Crowbank and passed out in the elevator.
When news of the quarantine reached the hotel, he was overjoyed. He had long been obsessed with zombies, and dreampt of an opportunity to test his wits and abilities against an undead plague. He gathered as many useful things as he could in the looting, including a beautiful Swarovsky crystal drinking glass which was more for show than practicality.
As the drama of the apocalypse unfolds around him, Alex relies on being friendly whenever possible, and running the hell away when it isn't. He learned parkour when e was in highschool, and now more than ever is it a useful skill.
((more to come when it isn't late))

After the devastation of the Beacham Cinema, one of reality's last strongholds in Malton, Alex was left without a home, and without company yet again. Slipping in and out of pockets of realism as he travels, Alex tries to keep to what he knows and understands. He often finds himself in little pockets of 'irreality' with more than enough Elbow Room to be bothersome, but he exits them as often as he enters and stays safe. Perhaps someday he will brave these ridiculous "Elbow Rooms" and avenge the Japanese man who was murdered for no reason back at Beacham.

Though he was unable to avenge his fallen friend, Alex managed to see the end of both of his killers' career in Malton. Now helping his unnamed military ally and trying to escape the devastation around the Elbow Room bar, Alex has lost much of his joviality. Many questions have been raised by his experiences, and his paranoia has grown strong. In a city gone mad, to survive Alex may have to become even madder.
