This ones for the News Team, whats left of them and what might still be to come.
Tova's passed on the microphone to me now, with instructions to take the News Team forward in a shambolic and glorious fashion.
Here's the dilema.... Ron is the News, he started this thing and maybe it should have died with his passing. I know a lot of the group went down with him and I understand that.
But....I think this game needs the C4NT, and as there are still a few active hounds out there I know I'm not the only one. What I'm wondering is do we just continue as we are, cruise around the city looking classy and sounding witty, or do we try to build up to something once again?
I'll keep the FYI thread running and still do my thing in the same way you do your's. Well not you Newhill, only 1 in a million can physically do what you do.
So, if you want something more for the Team then let me know. Nothing too organised, that would never float, but it might be good to have a few more members that could answer the conch and get together from time to time and help keep Malton Classy.
Otherwise we drift on into legend, and maybe thats where we belong....

might be time. but I still run in to plenty of people sporting C4NT tags. it's just they don't use the NMC or do anything for the wiki. so really what good are they? you have some thinking to do.

Some thinking and some drinking. Lord knows the reigns of this team lead a man to the sauce.

Well my drinking is done, so let's get on with the thinking part then.
As harrison pointed out, there's still a lot of classy newsmen around, but they aren't very active on the forum. However, I'll bet some of them browse the wiki page occasionally, so I think it's important we keep updating there.
Of course, to update, we need something to write about. (Well not really, but it would have been nice to have now and then)
So my suggestion is (in addition to recruit like the apocalypse is a mere week away) is to find some classy reason to blow the conch, and keep things happening at the wiki.

thats what I think too, mostly. I noticed Georges Abitol and Nikolai at Perryn, both C4NT. Were they there by coincidence or by Odins grace?
lets give it till Halloween in the oven and see whats cooking, or burnt, then.

...I might have an idea, I'm just thinking something around news. Heading to the main bays of booming noise and reporting their specifics? Interviews with new players trying to make names for themselves?
I'm not sure, just a medic who had to take things back to a fresh slate. I always had thoughts of sending Ron off with a bang, but my only idea for that was something too big, without at least a smal organization, it never work.

Well Earl, the Team will be taking it to the streets. Assignments are being issued so these reporters are going to have to start earning their scotch.
But you are right, we're about more than setting benchmarks for style and pizzaz, we're about the News, and thats what we're going to report.

*coughs* umm I need that scotch for cough due to cold. The foot prints will be coming back in the snow soon and I'm not going back out there without knowing the liquor cabinet is not gonna be locked again.

Good evening this is Winkalt, C4NT news, reporting life on the streets of Malton. In an otherwise faceless historical happening, human interest stories may be the story behind the story. This reporter would like to recognize a selfless Malton couple who voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to aiding survivors who are battling serious conditions. Norman Stanley and Darma have been traveling throughout ravaged NE Malton clearing and repairing structures long neglected . Maintaining good cheer during their missions, they have visited places including Judgewood’s Bubwith Hotel ,Perceval NT, Brentnall Grove PD area. Many of these buildings were occupied with 2 or 3 zombies. Darma and Norman share their working and living conditions as they toil to improve the safety of the inhabitants in these remote desolate zones . It has been a privilege for this reporter to travel briefly with this dedicated couple and witness the rebirth of many of the forgotten places in Malton due to their hard work and humanitarian efforts. They are living proof that two people can make a difference.
.......for all of us here at C4NT this is Winkalt saying" stay classy Malton"
