So... any plans? I've got a few, but they're all very tentative and none are too interesting.
Mostly, should we stay in Central Malton, try to get Ridleybank again, go somewhere else, or what? Also, what's to be done with the Blackmore Bastard Brigade? Is that going to be a "historical group" or is it just going to be Bastarding it up somewhere else?

If Shacknews go to Caiger, it could well fall, should we go there to help if that happens?

Well from the general feeling on this forum is for us to regroup and try to take the Blackmore back. Right now most of us are headed to either Shearbank or Ackland to regroup and resupply. Then we can make plans for the couter attack. I really think we should stay in Central Malton and help out, for one we worked so hard and accomplished so much at the Blackmore. Also the 5th is coming up soon and I want to be a part of that. As for the Blackmore Bastard Brigade, I still have my badge and I'm proud to be a Bastard. I don't think we should retire to the history books just yet. |

ahem, why not help us get roachtown back, we could form up in shearbank/roachtown with the PTT and make the big bash's job a helluva lot harder

Before we go running back under our shells at Caiger, I think we need some observation. Shacknews would take a few days, maybe even a week to threaten (a threat being defined as 100+ mob). They are much more likely to attack closer assets. My intuition suggests that they will begin a minimall tour and try to ride their momentum (such as it is).
Engaging them in Barrville/Roachtown soulds like the best plan to me.

yup, off to ackland for stocks and battle, what of revive points for the fallen, of which I am one!
do we have no thread dedicated to the black day at blackmore...or have I missed it. I logged on yesterday to find myself dead on the ground at an overrun nichols. I felt the omens were bad so shuffled straight to Blackmore and entered in time to see the very last survivor fall. I tried to claw him myself to claim back a small ammount of glory but a second or 2 after entering he was gone.
did many survive/fall back or were most of the brigade wiped out?

It was over in a few hours, so I'm pretty sure most were destroyed. As for fighting Shacknews... with how coordinated they are, there's no way we're going to be able to make a stand in stronghold buildings. We've got to spread out to avoid that sort of horde- and spreading out is just its weakness. Of course, it's every other horde's strength, so if we want to defeat them, we've got to fight them alone. Also, there are rotters and level 1 characters clogging the revive point. That's just unclassy.  |

i suggest we move to ackland mall, the safest one in the area, then find somewhere else to fight. roachtown maybe

What an ass. I'm currently standing 1 block west of Ackland's NW corner. A guy came out and shot me to death, without even bothering to DNA scan me or anything. I just stood up. Revive, please?

Well guys I'm at Ackland, and some guy is complaining about the Blackmore Bastards using the radio to much.  Now whats the plan, seems like we're getting rather unorganized. For now I'm gonna be reviving, I suppose thats the best thing to do for now. But after we've all gathered what then? Personally I want to go back to Ridleybank, but going in to Roachtown and helping them out might be a good idea. We would be close to Shearbank, and the PTT are good allies. They'll need help with the Bash, and of course we've still got the 5th coming. |

i say we clean up ketchelbank and roachtown until nov the 5th, we can use stickling mall in the suburb 1 north. this also keeps a mall open if we want to make cade runs into ridleybank
and if we are acting in roachtown we can make raids in ridleybank

Perhaps we fix Nichols and Hildebrand- the latter has been destroyed for the better part of 2 months. There are like 10 zombies in them, so it shouldn't be too hard.
Then.... well, I feel sorta short changed after Shacknews just showed up out of nowhere. Next time we try Ridleybank, we should remember to keep it mobile- if Shacknews shows up, we spread out regardless of how strong our fortress is.
