Extinction is in the NW and losing badly at this point you really must understand, extinction is nothing more than 7 or 8 active people that roam around the NW with 2 or 3 alts in their different "Alliance" groups and wreak what little havoc they can. Calvert is nearly back on its feet if all it has to deal with is extinction. That will go a long way to bringing the NW back up. Should be fun. What little Havoc? They ruined a quarter of Malton! Where the hell have you been? Granted they got timely assistance from LUE, but they still managed very efficient tactics.

Um, actually all they did was capitalise upon a fluke convergence of massive zombie forces which consisted of them, the RRF, LUE, Eastonwood Ferals, the CRF and others all smashing their way to Caiger and then smashing their way back out again. Now that the RRF and LUE are gone that red blotch has fragmented and fallen apart. It was impressive, but don't fall for the 'Extinction Zone' hype. They were a part of it, but without the massive hordes who also showed up the tidal wave of redness would have been no more than a splash in a puddle.

Got to say, Kudos to 10 Minutes from Hell for returning Barrville to a yellow status, that is amazing!
Santlerville still only dangerous around the North and Western borders, rumours of Extinction and the Eastonwood Ferals heading into town.

the zombies that are currently attacking santlerville in the north are killer zombie tomatoes. the rumors of both e zombie groups heading our way are just that, rumors.
i sure hope it isn't an "uberhorde".

There is some heavy fighting over the Whippey building. It changes hands maybe once or twice a day. The people, (mostly feral shoppers), who took back the mall refuse to stay in Whippey, all that stayed overnight to hold it was Me, a friend, and a random Malton's Angel. Could use some more people if you're looking for a fight.

All I know is I miss the thrill of the battle that was in the Blackmore. Is there anything like that going on? Suicide missions or whatever...

Holding St.Spy's is considered pretty risky, considering there's roughly 7-8 survivors in there with 20 zeds outside and about another half dozen in the immediate area. Damn good fun

Sandsun says the horde are attacking- Im APed out- think you can handle the 'cades calista? well, seeing as how i "handled the 'cades" at pegrum place pd and the treweekee mall in your neighborhood while you were waiting for the "uberhorde" that never was in rolt heights, i'm not exactly sure why you are asking me this. cheers!

Im helping out down here am I not? man, those zeds are starting to use X:00 tactics.... to get into a hospital! There's honestly 8 or so of us actually in there, against a horde of 30 zeds. We've been holding out for a week, we're not about to let up now

My thoughts. Extinction is a very corrdinated young group that has found a way to work tacticly very well. In the begining of the creation of thier "zone" the area really was not defended from the local groups. My group, The Grove, was on a tour of Malton and a few alts were around just for wasting ap's. Extinction hit the area with the combonation from LUE,RRF and such and at the same time (this is key) the rule change requiring toolboxs. That was devistating since they hit and wiped out all autoshops that prevented survivors from cadeing. I'm not saying Extinction's success' are a fluke. But the timeing could not have been better.
Since then The Grove has returned to Judgewood and surrounding areas and have been taking them to task for a few weeks. Are they useing multi alts, yes. Are they mobilizing the ferals, yes. Are they repeating the success they had against a few small NW corner groups, no.
Since we returned the survivor population has went up, and so has our group numbers. For that I for one thank Extinction. We have them trying to get us and it seems they never will. We've brought our PD/NT back up to power and they break in, we push them right back out. And since they have begun to concentrate on Calvert again, which was part of my grand plan, we've been making progress into Darkerstown, Roywood, and Jensontown.
I would like to thank all the help in the area we've gotten, you know who you are. And I would also like to invite anyone not in the NW to come on up and see the sights. Theres plenty more recovery and rotters to be found.

It was impressive, but don't fall for the 'Extinction Zone' hype. They were a part of it, but without the massive hordes who also showed up the tidal wave of redness would have been no more than a splash in a puddle. Off the hop, you would probably think i would disagree. BUT i don't. If you thought we ruined a quarter of malton by ourselves you are foolish, it couldn't be done. Even LUE couldn't have done it without other groups and ferals helping (I'm not talking about Caiger either, I'm talking about the entire NW). BTW, Extinction Zone is just where we are active..or have been active. And we don't give any burb that status unless they have been utterly crushed. WTF? Splash in a puddle? i think we deserve more credit then that. We don't deserve tidal wave, but a splash in a puddle.. ?come on...How about a small wave that has perfect timing..that knocks you off balance.
