I've arrived at the area around the fort. Lots of ruined buildings and zeds.

Methinks rallying the News Team (and whoever tags along) would be needed to be done before we actually strike the gatehouse. Which means... Ron, this is the story you were born to tell.
Get the conch.

Live from Ford Perryn: In a cunning move, Channel 4 News Team rallyed in Scarletwood. That is a short 10 AP trip away of Ford Perryn. The Cannonball Crew has cleared the fort this morning. Gateway was clear as of 10am PST. Eight survivors barricaded in the armory. Zombies are raising from the dead. The gatehouse was ruined a few minutes ago. Claw sounds on the armory door as we speak. Ron Burgundy is among us, and HIS HAIR IS IN DANGER! News Team, assemble!

More from Fort Perryn: Someone please bring some fuel and a radio. We are running out of messenger pigeons.

I'm at Perryn now, and I brought our barricades back up to par.

So hopefully the rest of the News Team makes its way to Perryn to join us and the Cannonball Crew against the zombies, and we can even take the damn gatehouse too.

What's that I hear? Some sort of low-pitched, continuous sound?
I must assemble.

Fort Perryn is in survivor hands, inside the buildings anyway. We still need to do some clearing work to get them outside the walls, but we have semi-firm control as far as it comes to all the buildings.

If anyone kills a zombie inside the fort- and I know you will- make sure you drag it outside; that way, we can clear the place out and keep the zombies at the gatehouse.

Well, here's a another update from Perryn. My character Kai Tan Sying is currently in the Armory resting and building up AP for another strike at the zeds outside. There are very few zeds left in the Fort. There were 8 zeds in the Fort when I got there, and I cleaned 1 out. According to this screenshot, taken a few minutes ago, now there are only 5... What we need most of all are a few more reinforcements... either survivor or military who can render medical aid and attack the last few zeds and clear them out.

I removed one, now there are 3 outside the armory and 17 standing outside the gates. Whittenside itself also seems to be coming back up from the dead, as survivors continue to show themselves in Perryn. Perhaps they're planning on using it as a rallying point and base of operations, I'm not sure. My hope is that because of the intervention of the Cannonball Crew and the News Team, Fort Perryn will catch up with Fort Creedy and we shall have another bastion of good on our hands. We always need a couple of those. We have Caiger, we have Creedy, we have... Yagoton? I don't know. Point is, the more strongholds the more options the zombies, our prey, have for attacking. Which in turn gives us more opportunity for Massive Glorious Battles.
