Well, that was certainly unexpected. Shouldn't a duel to the death end at death? Ah well, I've been gone for a long time, so what do you guys think of it?
Before you answer that, does anyone know just how big the big bash is? Remembering Blackmore, we seemed to hit a critical level and held them off with 150 people regardless of their strength (so long as it was unorganized). Last I saw, there were something like 100 in the entire fort- not to mention a VSB gatehouse. We've got a lot of resources nearby but lack the easy "We are winning in Ridleybank" recruiting tool.
If we can pile a bunch more survivors in there before they come to us, we could probably ride their patience out- unless they're something like 900 strong. Personally, I'd need to find out more about the Bash and your thoughts on this before I commit one way or the other. Any good intel would be much appreciated!

Ive never seen hordes of more than 60+ at the one building with my alt who is rolling with BB2. I guesstimate there are maybe 100-200 zeds rolling with BB2.
That being said, they level a 'burb within 24 hours of entering it, so, yeah... y'know?

Well theres more than 100 survivors in the fort now, more than 50 in both the gatehouse and storehouse (it might have been 101 in the gatehouse but i cant really remember) plus all those in the hospital.
However theres maybe only 50-100 other people in the entire suburb which isnt very promising

Want my advice? Start heading through safe-houses and tell everyone to pile into the gatehouse. If you want to make a stand against the BB2 and be succesful thats what you will have to do.

Remembering Blackmore, we seemed to hit a critical level and held them off with 150 people regardless of their strength (so long as it was unorganized) They do have some organization so we'll have to be ready if they really do come. From what I've observed with my alt following the Bash and from what you can read on their public forums they have the MOTA and some of LUE at least acting sort of like strike teams to crack targets. Then the rest of the BB floods in.

More or less. Anyone still up north? MoB are starting to make their presence known. They lack the numbers to annihilate everyone, but they are trying to take out 1 of the 2 NT's in Santlerville, The Hall building. If anyone's around, give us a shout and lend a hand

I'm almost tempted to accept their offer... it would sure as hell be Glorious, and we could advertise the wager... it would propel us to a level that we could previously only imagine... different people would be watching the battle religiously, rooting for us and against us.
Certainly nothing like this wager has ever happened before. If we could hold them off, we would achieve fame for ending the Big Bash and having the Balls to wager our lives for two weeks. If we don't hold them off... we achieve fame for having the Balls to call out the Big Bash with stakes that high.
And some of their number seem to be interested in coming to us anyway, citing the fact that we held the gatehouse at a 1:1 ratio with the cades at VSB. Some among the Big Bash, then, are interested in seeing if they can "dislodge this monster from its fort".

This is why I'm a member of the Colossus, damn it! Plus, I'd really like to fight the BB 2.
So, I'll speak with the Zone Defenders about coming over for the party then?

Possibly. Ron and I calculated that it would take the Bash about 16-20 days, give or take of course, not taking into account very easy or very difficult suburbs, to even reach Whittenside and engage us. Plus we think that they're going to hit the area anyway.

They could head up north. There's quite a bit of green up here, and only 2 red surburbs (which are usually red anyway (Ridley and Eastonwood). If you guys ever head over to barhah dot com, you should read what they are saying. Don asked where everyone would like to go... the amount of users who said Duston was unbelievable. Anyway, good luck with defending Perryn They seem intent on heading into the NE and trashing everything.....

I saw overwhelming support for Creedy in all my visits there, but it seems that they hadn't really noticed that we'd taken Perryn and held it against Mantooth.

Good, we'll have something to keep us entertained.
They seem rather cocky don't they?

Probably because they're allied with Red Rum, LUE, and all of that fun stuff.
