Our numbers have increased slightly and if everyone retreats after one major break in we'll never hold anything.

Happy New Year's, guys and gals! In case any of you happen to have friends in the NW, Calvert Mall has been retaken, but they sure could use a few helping hands to keep it that way! In other news, there's a group of maybe 25, mostly rotters, hiding just SW of Staples and Whatmore NTs in Yagoton.
Stay safe, and party careless!

Farmer isn't dead yet. We're up to 73 survivors, barricades at full, and only 2 zeds left standing inside. I didn't have the AP to waste checking outside.
I made a run to creedy earlier today and the gatehouse was starting to look kind of empty of survivors with 43 zeds inside and another ~120 outside. I ran into the armoury and told the 200(!!!) people in there to get to the gatehouse. Don't know if anyone did. I heard someone advocating for holding the armoury and abandoning the gatehouse, so I have no idea how much longer Creedy will hold, but if they fall, it's their own falt. 200 in the armoury? Come on! And there's still a surprising number of people just hanging outside of the buildings within the fort perimeter.

Well, I'm in Farmer and the boys are somewhere behind me.. It looks a lot like Angerstien, just with more trenchies.
If blanemcc could grow some balls and bring his friends back it might be a fight. Edit: I think what the good Don is talking about here is symbolisim. If the fort goes down everyone with half a brain is going to head for the hills because the Fort is down. I doubt they will notice a tiny little necrotech with a sign that says "hold here", because is the Bash could kill the Juggernaught Creedy* then they must be gods among Zeds right?
*(Yes Forts are still deathtraps. But most people are incredibly, incredibly stupid.)

I thought I would start celebrating the new years a bit early with the ransacking of the Creedy Gatehouse. Enjoy: iwrecords.urbandead.info/01-01-08_0100hrs_PRIVATE/IN_80-48_creedyransack_1bb-97e-145.htmlAnd Redwave, thats part of it, the morale hit the survivors will take when they see Creedy fall in just 3 or 4 days. There's more to it though, more tangible problems you'll face when all of a sudden there are 400 more zombies either looking for revives or riding the Big Bash wave. Barhah!

Happy New Year to you too Mel! And everyone else of course. I'm not sure a retreat was necessary, but if that means we have people ready to get us up fast when we get there, fine by me. We don't really have the numbers to hold the Bash at the moment anyway... And one more thing: Death to the Armory! Mr Tickles, happy munching on those guys. They might be a bit lacking in gray matter though... Edit: Barhar indeed.

We were caugt with our pants down at farmer, retreating to farmer concentrates our efforts more evenly + we have giddings at our back so we can re-supply easier.
What do you guys think?

I say fuck you.
You bitch about making a stand at Farmer for weeks, hang us out to dry at Angerstien, watch us die in Perryn, and now you run away.
You'll need to run far to avoid both the Zeds and me. Shiny?

Chill out Redwave.
We don't need conflict amongst ourselves with the Bash ready to come knock our doors down.

But I'm feeling badass this year. If Blanemcc can prove himself I'll get over it. But so far all I've seen is his back if y' catch my drift.

Ill admit it, fr all my talk about Farmer, its defensive location is utterly useless.
Morrish on the other hand has the mall at its back, meaning we have reinforcements at the ready and can re-supply easily.
We can also use the mall as a staging point for retaking Morrish.
If 30 zeds can break in against 80 defenders, While the bash isn't even concentrating on us, how long do you think we can hold farmer against the entire bash?
Theres 115 guys in Morrish, if the guys at Farmer pile in thats 200+ bodies in one square.
I like those odds much better.
And Redwave, saying you've seen nothing but my back, Ive been in Pitney for weeks, fighting PKers, maintaining the RP's. I survived an attack from a Pathetic Bill wannabe at farmer, got gunned down by a rummer at Morrish. By god if im not fighting, then what the hell AM I doing?
Im standing and fighting, I just have the sense now to see that Farmer was a Terrible location to try and stage this stand at.

I don't like the location of Farmer. Few TRP's surrounding and the bash will smash it when they turn from Creedy.
No: I won't be at Farmer.
Ive added most of the rangers in the area, ill work on reviving you guys as need requires.
