You know, until you try to hit up a cruise ship and they fire at you with those sound guns. Those bastards blow out your ear drums! Thats why they invented those sweet ear covers that you always see the guys walking around the airport tarmac wearing, but yes that would be ralther bad to have your ear drums blown out, Atleast if that happened then I could claim Social Sceurity for disability. Also Ed dear god that is amazing I wish I had all of those things in one place, that is one of the coolest hats I have ever seen.

Yes, we Americans take pride in the fact that we can ruthlessly crush anyone we want and then play it off as some great deed! So THATS why everyone was so pissed off at the Vietnam war...

I don't think there's a single person I know that isn't against the war in Iraq. Personally I think we should we should pull out (which is what our president's father should have done). Then we can move on to Cuba or some other tiny country XD.

I mean COME ON, not all the troops had the bullet proof vests to start with. He sent those over AFTER he sent the troops over there.

LMAO, I used to know a guy who tried to convince me Bush wuz the new Hitler and honestly expected me to take him seriously. Bush might not a very good president but comparing him to Hitler is like comparing hippies to fascists.

They're also different in the fact that Hitler obviously new what he was doing when it came to war.

there are certainly parallels. Both used used the idea of "preemption" to attack another country that had no clear ties to any actual threat to their countries. The difference here is that no one had the balls to stop the US. Only call us on our bullshit, but not back that call up with anything. Both have done wonders in building a propaganda machine to silence critics, "With us or against us." Both have imprisoned people without any trial or charges put against them. Gitmo THe key difference is that no one within the Bush administration has ordered the execution of the people theyve detained on a mass scale.
I think it would be better to just call Bush a terrible person and president. Hitler has a too strong connotation to it.

Actually, there's a bit of debate about this, considering the number of times that Hitler overrode the (often strategically sound) advice of his own generals, especially during his Russian campaigns. And yeah, I'm something of a history buff.

Mussolini did the same thing (I've read several books on him but I've only read a little about Hitler). From what I know neither of them knew what they knew what they were doing. Mussolini created a society that revolved around (and practically worshipped) war yet Italy's army wuz useless (it had problems invading Ethiopia, some tiny, poor African country), Mussolini had charisma and nothing else.

Hitler might have been a modern-day Cicero yet what he did wuz comparable to some schoolyard bully going up against Muhammed Ali. All he accomplished wuz to disgrace Germany and its people.

Hitler is only a Cicero, unless you consider Cicero a demagogue.
