...Is it possible to avoid dealing with having to sift through 1000 spam bulletins on MySpace by people whose accounts have been phished because people are too ignorant to change their passwords, without actually removing them from my friends list? It's probably one of the more annoying things I've ever dealt with.
Also, this chick I know who looks like a supermodel keeps posting bulletins about how she's fat and ugly. Was it wrong that I told her she had to lose ten pounds within a week or she's off my friends list?

Ehhhhh, you're probably right. Although she's no angel either. She used to go out with my friend, and they were gonna go to prom last year, then after he had paid for everything, she told him she was going with someone else.

As a mental health professional, I can safely assure you that any girl making posts like that is 1) pumping for compliments and therefore incredibly shallow and a waste of time or 2) pumping for compliments because she's a borderline personality disorder and looking for abuse. If this is the case ... take her off your friend's list and run. Any abuse you give her will validate her. Any reassurance you give her will validate her. She'll most likely stalk you and take a cheese grater to your dick.
