The other day i was playing medieval total war. I set up a custom battle with all rocket launchers in a foggy, rainy map. Pretty surreal. makes me wishi still took drugs.

Mongols fucked up my Venice Campaign. They came in with 8 full banners, all lead by some Erwin Rommel daemon lord from hell and pushed me out of the middle east, all the way back to Byzantium. Thats when i gave up.

Mongols fucked up my Venice Campaign. They came in with 8 full banners, all lead by some Erwin Rommel daemon lord from hell and pushed me out of the middle east, all the way back to Byzantium. Thats when i gave up. I played England...then everybody declared war on me. So I gave up. So then I played France...and every one of my neighbors attacked me when I ran out of rebel provinces to attack. Stupid game. |

My friend was really good at the game. He said you had to really pimp out your daughters and pursue aggressive diplomacy.. I didnt do that at all. I believe the Pope was extremely pissed at me because I sort of executed the HRE Leader's Son with a sack of potatoes.

Assault+Move games suck.
Close Combat series was great. Extremely complex and hard, but also fun because it wasnt just me hiting the build button as fast as possible then having my horde of fearless troops attack blindly.
