Seattle's not great for traffic either, and we currently have 2 major roadways that are going to collapse in the next earthquake or even a big windstorm. 1 of them crosses lake Washington, connecting Seattle to it's eastern suburbs (where companies like Microsoft and Nintendo reside,) and the other is an elevated highway that goes north-south along the waterfront. If and when either of them goes, we're screwed.

I do believe L.A. wins. GM got L.A.'s city council to cancel its subway project. If you live in L.A. consider the subway tunnels a nice place to squat at.
