In fact, you'd likely find it much easier to find suppliers of newborn children than some of the compounds the Cookbook demanded. Like what? "Mix the plastic explosives in with the sodium, then slowly add the weapons grade plutonium..."? Not quite, but close. That made me laugh, though. The Cookbook would've been much more interesting if it read like that. It's been years, and I didn't exactly read it closely at the time. It was a curiosity, as I've always been too concerned for my life and liberty to consider mixing up things that could blow off my fingers or get me thrown in jail. But I seem to remember that nitric acid was the "fat of a newborn infant" that kept recurring. I've no doubt that the reason it is so carefully controlled is that it is so useful for making explosives. Eek. Just had a Big Brother chill, all of a sudden... |
