I'm trying to learn 4, count 'em, 4 instruments at the same time without the help of anyone. Do it yourself books are allowed for chords and such but I'm letting my strumming technique just develop on its own. 1-Guitar, so far so good... I've pretty much just been going through my i-pod and playing the easy guitar parts of the songs I like. I've got "Big Rock Candy Mountains" from "O, brother, where art though" down melodically, just working on the chords now. 2- Banjo, going okayish.. *Feels faint * I DO have a weakness for Guitar music and the guys who play it ;D ...and Banjos!?!?. *reaches back for the wall to steady self.* Oh, it's bragging time? Same as math, which I hate a lot more than music... Damn you Calculus!!!! Art is a universal language all its own, and I'm one hell of a cartoonist (if I do say so myself). I soloed in a plane once.
Took some flying lessons for a while. I was shooting and taking off landings,when the instructor got out and said take 'er up,and I did .
Got about half way through the flight pattern an realized ...shit...I was all alone up there and knew I had to land it first try or I would probably just stay up' till I ran out of gas. Came in high and hot but made it with a very rough landing.
The instructor greeted me with a very white face ( it was his plane).
Haven't flown a plane since. ;D

I flew a plane one time. It was 2142, and I crashed it into a platoon of my own people.

Never flew a plane, but I did get to go up in a military plane and see an in-air refueling. That was awesome! I was even in the belly turret. It felt like I was floating because it was all glass around me and I had a straight view down to the Atlantic Ocean. Kinda creepy though.
