Depends on what I'm doing with it. My concealed carry pistol is a Glock 30, a .45 caliber semi-auto with a capacity of 11 rounds. It's small enough to be easily concealed but is damned powerful and accurate.
Choosing my favorite target gun is like asking me to choose my favorite kid. I just got a pair of SIG P226s a month or so ago. I still need to site them in but they feel perfect in my hand.
As far as hunting pistols go I don't mess with them. I prefer shotgun and rifle hunting. Still cycling through my shotguns to find the perfect one.

I inherited some old shotguns and a couple of edged weapons down in a locked case in the basement ,do those count ? I'm sure they aren't as shiny, accurate or deadly as yours, however .

I dunno, if they were cleaned and oiled before they were locked up and haven't been knocked around too much they should be ready for action. And there's no such thing as "more deadly." All guns are deadly, the measure is how experienced the hands they're in are. A rimfire .22 (a few steps above BB) is probably more deadly in my hands than a .50 armor piercer (the strongest round I can think of off hand) in yours, by what I can tell from your firearms experience.

(Excuse the pun) I got as far as prone position shooting badge at camp.(did not get the standing position one ) I went on a bird hunt a couple of times. Pheasant on a relatives' farm in Kansas and duck along the gulf coast. Didn't fire a shot. Just went for the camaraderie. Getting up before dawn to go down to the local coffee shop with all the other hunters . Did get pretty good with a duck call though ;D

I tend to do the more solitary hunting methods (deer, turkey, squirrels). First time I went quail hunting I got a great shot, blew its head clean off. Didn't make a very nice mount but it had some great meat.

I remember those days... The nice red welt across my left wrist made the kids at school think I was an emo using a plastic knife or something. A good vambrace fixes all that as well as improving accuracy though. Eventually you lose feeling in your wrist. Compound bows are so much easier though. More accurate, more powerful, and more awesome looking. I once shoot completely through a deer with my compound, it didn't even react to the hit. Kinda weird.

Maybe somebody with less direct methods... Snake? I hope I'm not the only person in this thread that plays Metal Gear games.
