The situation in Gaza has been how its been for the past 30 years. Horrible. Thank you US government for funding zionist land grabbing rats that use religion to justify the extermination of brown people! Interesting Fact: When palestinians are killing. they are terrorists, when israelis are killing people, they conducting are counter-terrorism. Great stuff. I wish trenchies were gullible enough to buy that I'm conducting counter-pk'ing actions.

zombiesly3r, don't go to Canada in case of draft. Don't. After 9/11 Canada signed an agreement with the U.S. stating that any draft dodgers would be arrested and sent back to the U.S. If you want to escape a draft, I think the only solution is head down south to the border. Or swim to Europe.
In school we had a mock congress, some girl passed a bill stating that U.S. would cut ties with Israel. Barely passed. Was pretty fun.

Yes if you want to go into the degrees of Horrible. From what i recall, the israelis still control all the flow of traffic into and out of Gaza and the Westbank, as well as general traffic inside. Also they maintain several bases with in the occupied territories as well as control all air and naval traffic. Add all that together and what do you get FAMINE But yeah the in fighting is what you should expect if an occupier just pulls out after 30+ years. However, to the average westerner it looks like"dem animals arr killin eachutha bekuz they dont like gawd." Which, combined with the famine, is a good reason for the israelis to come in and reoccupy the territories under the pretext of "Humanitarian Intervention."

On CSPAN I saw this Palestinian man giving a presentation on the Israeli occupation of Gaza, I think it was Gaza. He told some real terrifying stories.

And how long did that last? Oh, really? Are they angry that we occupied them for 30 years? They want revenge? Hell, lets occupy them some more then!

I thought it was only settlements, they're still there so isn't that technically still occupation?

if by "fix" you mean steal land and put the land back under foreign military occupation, theres a good chance they may.

Sure, at least some of the settlements are removed, but they're planing new ones. And yes it,s an occupation, it's a bloody wall along the border! It's a little like the US building a huge wall to keep Mexicans from getting in illegaly. And then moving the border a couple of miles into Mexico to increase security. Here's a map: www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/middle_east_and_asia/gaza_strip_1999.jpgIts a few years old i might add...
