In the 80s you have the Travelinb Wilburys, composed of George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan. With names like those who needs any other 80s band?

Can't say I liked the American 80's music. The rock portion was a bunch of make-up wearing hair-banders. Most of the good 80's music was foreign.
