*A note is posted on the door of the Angell building, it appears to be written on a torn-out page of a very old manuscript by someone who knows calligraphy and has the time and patience to practice it*
On this day, one year ago, a weak, aging priest had a vision of a city filled with hope instead of fear, of life instead of death, and of progress instead of ruin.
This date marks the generation of the Angels, a reign of hope that has quenched a foundering city and spanned the most turbulent of times. Our ends have not changed, and by no means are we finished.
Our goals remaine the same: To rest this city from its slumber, to raise the fallen living, and raze the walking dead.
My voice has been silent these past few months, but I still persist.
And at this advent, the angels will be aphonic no longer, I advise action, abjure attentiveness, and admonish apathy!
More changes are coming to malton, and we shall help them along As Always
Padre

Yeah, uh, about that, Kristi sent me over from Heywood in hopes of doing something. Now, I'm not much of a fighter--I fired three shots into a mob of zombies and managed to shoot out the back window of a Chevvie--and I'm not a lot better with my axe (scared two others and sprained a muscle) but I tend to get very lucky scrounging for equipment and try to help the wounded a little.
The thing is, the Angell building is barricaded to the nook. It could be that there are people in there, but I simply have no idea.
Now, there are zombies to the north, there are zombies to the west, and watch out for that mob in the southwest--they friggin' bite.

Wow...that woman works wonders!
Mr. Santhas, you'll want to seek out a suitable shelter: St. Telesphorus's hospital is perhaps your best bet...though Hillard Road PD might have been cleared out by now.
Best of luck to you! Every axe counts.

Most places look empty. There are a lot of zombies in the streets, but I don't see any inside.

I've been informed that there's a breakin at st. Spyridons...it's probably too late to do anything about it, but keep your eyes peeled.

Spyridon's hospital is about to go. There are 14 zombies outside, 3 already inside, dragging people out. Hacked away at one, yelling at people to get out, but it looks like it's going to be a bloodbath any minute now. Barricades are all gone. From the looks of it, Saint-Telesphorus might be next. (On another note: you take six swings with on 10% and you hit four times? Yikes. I mean... yikes!) Saint Telesphorus hospital is under attack as well. A few people are active, but most are sitting ducks.

I bear a midriff. Given its pasty unattractiveness and contemporary male fashion, however, I seldom bare it.
