Hahaha, I suppose so. When I think about it, I'm not so sure they can't make a career out of it, I'd say that just haven't really considered their options.

They could whore themselves out to some rich guy as like whipping boys or something. There isent a single thing in the world you can do that wont turn some sort of profit.

Yeah, it's more of a matter of when, than if. I know that in ten years, I'll probably be living in some crappy apartment making less than $5000 a year from being a full time actor, but that doesn't mean I won't do it. There's a good chance I'll become an overnight success. It's not guaranteed, but I'm still doing it.

I agree. I'm probly not going to finish school, let alone go to post secondary, so I need to play my skills. And playing instruments isnt really a real job, but it definatly could be. Being successful is more a matter of luck than talent.

That's true - a lot of amazing actors and musicians never get picked up for whatever reason. I think part of that involves putting yourself out there and making sure people notice you.

Yeah, I don't have many other options if it doesn't work out, so I'll have to do anything to make it work.

I've been in a few competitions. It's like showbiz, really. It's risky and there are a lot of assholes to deal with.

Only they're big assholes.
Why not football? We started talking about it someplace....

Not my thing - I hate the whole team thing and most football players are faggots, anyway(In my experience, I know there are decent ones, namely on this forum, relax guys). Plus, I'm already in college and have no background in it, so there's no hope for a pro career.

That sounds like the hockey players down here. Noone likes them and they shower together.

Hahaha, yeah, I think acting and the martial arts are pretty much the only thing I've ever been able to do with someone else. Lifting isn't a team thing per se, which is one of the reasons why I love it.
