Eh, barricades were down to QS, but no zeds inside. I am absolutely out of AP, only got them up to VH.

Quote from zed tactics:
What I'm proposing here may be a bit ambitious and may have already been brought up, but it seems to me that the biggest advantage that the harmanz have is their precious resources. It seems to me that a way to counteract that advantage is to cut off their supply of fuel cans and dry up their power so that they blow AP searching in darkened buildings (after we destroy their generators, of course) or bringing in fuel cans from far outside the areas of battle. Here's a list of important fuel laden buildings within the area of battle for Blackmore and Nichols Mall (Stansbury Village = SV, Pimbank = PB, Roftwood = RW)....
Halsey Auto Repair (57,51 SV This is a big one, near both Nichols and Blackmore), Witherington Auto Repair (64,50; RW) Factories: (51,46; 52, 41; 52,42; 56, 43; 56,57 SV; 61, 43 PB; 63, 55 RW) Warehouses: (53,48; 55, 43; 59, 42; 57, 54 SV; 63, 50 RW) Car Parks: (53, 46 [This is the nearest fuel source for Blackmore itself]; 59, 45; 63, 54 RW; 60, 56 RW; 62, 43 PB)
This is rather ambitious and I know it also drains our own manpower, but I think if we can hold a lot of these buildings, especially the ones closer to the action, then it will be much more effective to destroy the generators and deprive the harmanz of their needed resources.
Barhah!
Just something else to watch out for as the BASTARDS hold on!

I was thinking of a more organized list, hosted somewhere else as a plain HTML page, perhaps searchable like the DEM Rogues Gallery...that thread could be used as the start of it, but it's awfully time-consuming to read through a thread once it gets long. If we had a searchable list, you could check each profile as you DNA scan, to make sure it's not listed as an enemy. Instead of doing something that complicated here I think it would be just better to use the DEM's PK list to report them to bounty hunters, although we can have our own list to report sightings for the DEM to check with.

capt.cade good scout work and id thought of it from our pespective earlier
having generaotrs up helps us but not having them really screws us around, but then again a person could hould 10 feul cans without too much hassle to searching trips from afar would be productive. essentialy our syringe supply (blackmore) is the most important still

The only problem there, being that the DEM list only lists PKers. Not GKers, or any of the other random asshats who cause problems. Side note, I killed the rotter at the top of the Margery Avenue que, and Blackmore is secure. ;D

Rotters seem to be clogging up Margery so it might be a good idea to designate a secondary revive point. I remember that St. Isidore's had the same problem at one point so they picked a generic building a couple blocks away to thin out the rotters and it worked pretty well. St. Theodore's might be the best, most obvious choice for that.
If the much rumored Big Bash push on Ridleybank comes to pass it might be a good idea for one of our mascots (Ron, Grippy, Scrivner or whoever) to make another recruiting run. I know for a fact that there are a lot of people garrisoning Giddings in anticipation of the Bash and if that threat passes them by we can offer them Ridleybank as something to sink their axes into.

Ah my. I was down in Nichols still and someone had ran in saying that Blackmore could use some back up. I had about 45 AP on me and I didn't really believe his words, but since Nichols wasn't under any harm and we've had a minor influx of survivors, I decided they wouldn't miss me too much if I just came and checked on Blackmore. Anywho, there's 45 less survivors there now then when I left, but that's probably good since that is probably who came to reinforce Nichols. Anyway, I arrived to find a zombie inside along with the doors open to the streets. I threw the barricades back to EHB and I'm probably going to be sticking around the Blackmore again now.
EDIT: Man you boys are pretty mangled up in here. I've got well over 30 FAKs with me so I'm healing up some of the greivously wounded now and I'll tend to smaller wounds tomorrow morning when I have more AP.

Another rotter at the top f the Margery stack: urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=493299Blackmore is OK, EH and no zeds. I'm making a run to Nichols for ammo and FAK's tomorrow, should be back in a day or two.

I'm going to take the time here to do a lot of brain-scanning, since I'm only level five. Once I can actually use my guns well I'll help charge into glorious battle.

We have to work hard to unransack the surrouding bldgs as the zeds seem to take down one, camp with 9 zombies (see St Simon's hospital) and ransack it. Then use it as a staging area to move on St Theo, which has 1 zed in it but is still ransacked.
BASTARDS need to replenish the 50+ souls lost to Nichols and get those bldgs cleaned out and caded! 98 zeds outside SW corner of Nichols so they need reinforcements as well.
The struggle continues! What doesn't kill us (for long) makes us stronger!

I left today to spread the word! About 200 people between Blackmore and Ackland got the message and I'll make my way to Caiger tomorrow.

has caiger changed at all since the last time i was there when it was just a PK'ing hell hole? if it hasnt then i'm willing to bet Ron will get killed up there.
I really do think its time for us to "abandon" blackmore and start concentrating our strength on the surrounding resource buildings and leave holding blackmore to the "feral" humans.

The weekend's 50 drop in Blackmore occupants has me alarmed. To many Blackmore isn't so much of a safe haven as it is a symbol. We need to focus all of our forces on Blackmore and Nichols and have it stay that way for a long time. Long enough so that the RRF comes back from the bash, tries to take Blackmore, fails, and concedes Blackmore to the survivors. THEN we start to attack nearby buildings, and slowly purge Ridleybank of the zombies.
As long as we have Nichols mall nearly all of our supplies are taken care of. This goes without saying. That makes other resource buildings in Ridleybank rather superfolous. The RRF will much sooner concede Blackmore to us thinking that it will only be that one building. If we can capture that one stronghold in Ridleybank, then this victory will bring in hordes of survivors to flood into Ridleybank causing a massive war in the suburb.
