I still don't think people have any reason to be discouraged, what we've already accomplished will be UD legend.
I don't think we have to worry about the Big Bash ending anytime soon. What our main problem is right now is we're still to spread out, we need to bring all our forces together at the Blackmore and Nicholas.
I'm gonna get out there and start shouting the withdrawl from Greater Blackmore.
Besides if the 5th of November actually happens then we only need to last a little bit longer before the real party starts. ;D

Oh, we ain't losin! I've gone to call in more help, but I've got half a mind to tell people to take off or change sides, just so things get more interesting than they already are!

Well, I've tried to deliver a few motivational speeches....but they don't get much recognition. Either way, things are looking up with a few renforcements in Blackmore.
Recent count was over 300 zeds outside and 192 survivors inside.

I wouldn't worry overmuch about low morale. My low point was after the Big Bash sacked Nichols Mall (back in July or August, iirc) and it took me two weeks to get a revive because literally 2/3 of Malton was in the Red and I was in the wake of that disaster. I was maxed out (except for the Rot) and sorely tempted to quit the game because of all the PKing on top of the predations of hungry zombie hordes.
The Blackmore Building has been lots of fun. There's always plenty to do - barricading, healing, shooting zeds, reviving, stocking up on supplies at the conveniently located mall, and trading quips over mugs of mead - and on those relatively rare occasions when the zombies drag my comatose body out to feed their young, the revives are much faster than I've come to expect of Malton.
Even when there are 30+ zeds milling around in the Blackmore Building, I don't fear death, because I know the rest of the BBB isn't going to panic and run for the hills like I've seen survivors do so many times in mall sieges. Even if I run out of AP, the barricades will be rebuilt, the zeds will be eliminated, the wounded will be healed, and the fallen will be revived. It just feels so...well-organized and fun.
I've spent several months undeclared, never finding a cause I was willing to fight for consistently. But from here on out, I'm a member of the Blackmore Bastard Brigade. Cheers!
EDIT: And they're chomping at the doors, again. I'm done for the night.

The cades are down, completely with 2 zeds inside when I logged.
Gave one more pep speech before my death. Already being attacked and should be done momentarily. Tried cading, but for every try I only stalled them.

The Zeds are out (were when I logged in), cades back up to VH (at lightly when I came in). Hang in there englishmuffin--the battle is glorious, and we're holding 'em! Remember that every AP you spent cading probably stopped 6 or 7 HP of damage from those Zeds! (They had to spend their AP tearing the cades back down instead of attacking Bastards).
Keep yer brainz bad tasting!

Now THIS is why I'm fighting here in the Blackmore! Log in, spend my 1 or 2 AP upping the cades and refresh a few times to see the level go up and down, finally ending up at VH--plus a Bastard got brain-et, then stood right back up, MRHed, and got revived without even having to go outside! This is a Classy operation, friends. This is Glorious Battle.

As of right now, the 'cades are solid, though there is still one more zed in flak inside the Blackmore Building.

I saw this count somewhere else. Does this include Margery or bodies or what?

It did, either that or alot of the bodies around Blackmore were standing.
There are now 51 zombies at Margery, 47 bodies.
295 zombies at Blackmore and 213 bodies.
