Pertaining to the patrolling for PKers. As the apocalypse horde sent waves of human shock troops into Roftwood, some of the Quartly Librarians have a vendetta to unleash upon the sad sad zombie spies. We've already knocked a few Red Rum members down, but they stay near Blackmore and Nichols. Since they have less than twenty members in the group, we will only need a few more members for the 'Life Squad.' Other than that, is there a PKer list we can update for Ridleybank specifically ? I know better than to combat revive 's metcalfe' or 'Chris Ledoux' but others don't. I don't have the know how, can someone make a BBBPK list ?

By the way, I picked up World War Z by Max Brooks yesterday. In-depth and funny as hell... All the American soldiers in the book refer to the zombies as Zack, like all the soldiers in those Vietnam movies call the Viet Cong, Charlie (or Charles when he's being clever). There's already something like calling the zombies Zed or the C4NT's insistence on attributing all intelligent moves of the zombie's to Wes Mantooth. Zack's pretty cool though... Ah, clever, but a missed opportunity! "Charlie" probably came from the phonetic alphabet abbreviation for VC: "Victor Charlie." It would have been better to have the US soliders call the Zombies "Zulu," after the phonetic alphabet for "Z." It also instantly calls to mind (at least for military history geeks who remember bits about British colonial wars) some great few-vs-many battles like Iswandala (which is probably spelled wrong, but you know the one I mean) and Rourke's Drift--some of which ended well for the "few" and some not so well. Keep yer brains bad-tasting, Bob

s metcalf has no reason to bitch. I'm looking at his profile and he has more than enough EXP to buy Brain and thus stop on CR's.

The First Siege of Caiger was from Oct 25th to Dec 2nd. The Battle of the Bear Pit was from late-April to mid-June, with a short pause in between. The Second Siege of Caiger Mall was from January 30th to March 19th.
Most of the other battles on the wiki lasted something like 20 days.
All the sieges of single buildings (mostly Forts Perryn and Creedy) were short. The longest one of those lasted something like a week. Of course, some of those battles were before barricading and the forts have always had to be VSB.

Yeah, but most people overbarricade the forts in case of a siege, anyway.

It's the longest one I've seen- as long as you don't count things like "The Siege of St. Isidore's Church during the Siege of Caiger Mall" or something like that.

There's a horde of 91 zombies standing outside the South-East corner of Nichols. The buildings' doors are left wide open. There's 63 survivors inside. I suggest someone 'cades it up really, really fast.

Are sure it was the SE? I've seen them attacking the SW corner of the mall. It was just down and 6 zeds broke in. I was able to barricade up, but not to EHB. Please don't tell me they're attack two corners of the mall simultaneously.

It was just opened an instant ago. I used my 4 AP to do what I could to those barricades. We got 7 zombies inside and about 5 people have been killed so far. To be honest, I don't think we can really afford to lose 5 people cause that's a fairly big number where our small numbers are concerned. If you guys that are still up in the Blackmore could persaude others to get down here, it would just be a jolly old time.

Perhaps it would be better if elements of the NMC went down to Nichols Mall. Those who are up in Blackmore who don't visit the forums should probably stay there. I'd rather have Malton's Angels, the Malton Rangers, or a section of the C4NT go down to Nichols. The irregulars can stay in Blackmore while the coordinate regular army of the NMC would do better work down in Nichols.

I gave a little speech in Blackmore. Hopefully some of the people who read it will act accordingly. I'll go back in tomorrow and see if I can get another place in the stack to tell another 50 of them.

Hello, all. Ro-gan here representing the Secret Six and The Shadow League and the LoSH and The Walking Dead.
Count us in for defending both Nichols and Blackmore. Actually, we have been doing so for quite some time.
Also, since I have a few alts count Ro Gan in as pro-Bounty Hunting the PK/GK'ers. They have become quite annoying and I figure about 20 of us solely devoted to Bounty Hunting can easily manage their annoyances.
