50 zombies standing in there could turn alot of people to the hills with their tail between their legs. thats what happened with the bash but they didnt have 200 people in a corner, it was more like 70

I once read a book called "Revolutions are what Happens to Wheels" or something similar to that. According to the guy who wrote it, you've got to turn things on their heads to have a revolution- and they're few and far between. It's like saying "I don't like the color of the paint in my kitchen, I think I have to burn the whole damn house down" and then setting the place on fire while you're inside it (hence the reason most revolutionaries don't survivive their revolutions). I think most of the people who passed his test were the Russian revolutionaries- and not the mainstream ones, the real bat shit crazy guys, like Bakunin and what's his name... Nadachev, or something like that. Anyhow, it's all nonsense because words refer only to themselves!
Moving on, though, we do have to think up something to counter the Big Bash, or the RRF if they're the only ones who show up. Personally, I think we're already good to go, just given the numbers (and I hear Patrucio is already doing all he can about us). Still, some thought can't hurt. Right now, my plan is to just play things by ear and move people in or out of Blackmore and Nichols as appropriate. I'll also run to some other malls and suburbs and see if I can draw some more help. I've done it twice already and I think another round at another knuckle in the fighting would probably get some people.

Well, if you want some good fighting elsewhere, there's always Tynte and Hildebrand malls we could put some people in. Hildebrand is notorious for not having an organized mall resistance. We could move some forces there and claim areas of Roftwood as part of Greater Blackmore if you want to spread out even further.

Hah, I think we're just as spread out as we need to be right now- and don't the zombies still control Hildebrand?

Probably, but if it is I'm sure its the populace's fault. The S6 controlled Hildebrand before they moved to Nichols and they had their alts monitor it - they left a zombie in there for a few days before anybody killed it. When it finally was killed, they let the body stay inside for just as long. The S6 finally gave up on the mall when the survivors inside refused to do even the most basic things to defend it.
But what do you mean by counter the Big Bash? Do you mean a mobile army to follow with it to lower the casualties it causes? Or do you mean if it shows up in Greater Blackmore?

By "counter the Big Bash," I mean "resist them if they attack us." I haven't given much serious thougth to the prospect of throwing the News Team in front of them, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Oh. Well, I'm honestly not worried about the Big Bash should they come to the Blackmore Building. Not only will they have to spend AP to get through the barricades, they'd also have to get through the "bodycades" to ransack us. It does, however, mean we'd have to start using the revive thread and advertising it to keep the bodycades up, but that's not big deal. The Big Bash would be foolish to throw themselves up against the bulwark that is the Blackmore Building.
Nichols, on the other hand...

what would be awesome is another charge of the bastard brigade if the big bash comes... like an opening salvo
would annoy alot of people and they might lose some ferals out of it

We should have random charges to keep these zed packs on their toes. Once a week, random coordination, 20-30-50 guys jump out and wipe clean as many as we can! Plenty of defenders left behind, and we make up for the "waste of AP/ammo" by cading for several days! I know they just get back up, but those 40+ we killed in that first charge were all headshot stunned! Think of it as good publicity for the wiki page, Ron B. could herald the event, doctors would benefit. If we could strike Margery and clean it every so often, that alone would help! We could even do revive strikes. . . revive as many of our guys outside as we can.
Sorry, just would love to log on and see the wiki with a dozen or so Charge Reports, and read of the BASTARDS being the best revivers in the game!

the only problem is the waste of ammo, if pretty much all the combat defenders (not revivers/medics) run out and use all their ammo breaches wont be closed as fast as of less ammo.
fire axe can be used but is kinda slow
