ok so the RRf is death culting, pking and griefing. other zombie groups are zerging...
so why shouldnt we 'cheat' aswell, im not suggesting bots as thats unfair but how about the use of alts? if they're not in the same building i dont see whats wrong. its not like zerging as really it would only be 1 extra character per person
what do you guys think? (ive also go some more ideas but i wanna see if you guys wanna do it naughty or nice first)

I think if we admit to not playing by the rules publically, then we're going to end up paying for it.

gah but we'd hold ridleybank, and surely any means justifies that end
also the only other way i can see to beat the RRf is wait till the all quit, wait till the 5th of november or both

weve tried that and it was working for a time but now we are facing RRf strike teams and were not doing well...
but then the RRF are losing members daily (going to nexus or just leaving) so if we do beat them fairly we will be famous but if we dont the battle of the blackmore will be lost in the tombs of wiki and forgotten
ughh it was just a suggestion but ok we can leave it for now

I don't think we should resort to the questionable acts the RRF has. Makes us look just as desperate as they are. Bad idea.

Why do folks think we're losing? Sure, there's 250+ standers outside Blackmore and 200+ bodies, but with 150-200 Bastards inside, we're gonna hold that building. That many zeds outside, they're gonna be breaking in several times a day with even minimal coordination. We throw the cades back up and shoot the rotters who make it in. Hell, I've starting sleeping in the Blackmore again because it's finally back to being fun. It's a gas logging in and throwing some chairs against the door, seeing the cades drop and then propping 'em right back up. I imagine that poor zed on the other side, "D'oh! Someone woke up! It was down to lightly!" Then I smile and slap a FAK or two my friends and take a nap.
Life is good in the Blackmore, friends. Now Odin brings us his bounty there 24/7. If it were easy, why should we stay? Enjoy it!
Keep yer brains bad tasting,
Bob
[Edited to add: My point being, embrace Glorious Battle for its own sake--without playing dirty--and everything else will follow. First the Blackmore, and then Greater Blackmore.]

That is still zerging, ian. Pulling anything like this only cheapens all that we've done so far. gah but we'd hold ridleybank, and surely any means justifies that end Certainly not. If we can't win with honour I would rather we lose.

On a related note, please do something about this little quote on Ridleybank wiki page:
We must make clear we don't condone zerging in Blakmore.

Done! I added a little bit about the News Team and zerging and gave the guy a heads up. Don't delete what he said, that's vandalism and deleting something about a Bastard zerging really looks like bad faith.

all sorts of issues arise here, more than what i even want to engage.
Its better to not take a stance on "honor" because one slip and then we've gotta deal witha bunch of bs. Honor is the gateway into becoming a douche bag also.
same goes with cheating.
the best bet is not to worry about honor, cheating, and what not and apply concerns on actually playing the game and whatever happens, happens and we cant control or be responsible for the actions of every player who may be working for our goal.

We're not going to use alts in Blackmore. Every character a person has must be in different suburbs. That's how we've always played. That's how we'll always play. The price we'd pay for it is not worth it. Even without the price it's not worth it.
Is it getting challenging again? Yes, it is. But that's why we play games. That's why we compete. For the challenge. The challenge is the fun of it. Overcoming the challenge is when we have the most fun. That's why the Battle of Blackmore is so epic - we're overcoming the challenge of the RRF. Let's not cheat to do it. Otherwise, what's the point?
