Why should they be classified as a historical group again?

Because they had an impact? Are you serious? Is that a legitimate question?

I was under the impression that a historical group was one that once existed and participated in major events, but no longer does. And the BBB still largely participates, just not as a co-ordinated group. If I got the definition wrong, my mistake, I'm not a big Wiki person.

Right. Shacknews said that once they beat Giddings down (and I'm assuming they have, though I haven't really been paying it that much attention) they would be leaving the game as an official group. Which would make them the definition of a historical one.

The BBB is still official and active from all I've seen. There are quite a few Bastards around the Nichols area at the moment. They may not be organized but they're still a group.

Even if they werent, I honestly dont see a point in making them historical. They werent around all that long, and the Rangers had been in Ridleybank long before them (or you for that matter).
On top of that, I'm pretty sure they're still active too, at least in some sense of the word.

Yeah...as far as I can see the BBB is still around. Why is it historic......to say this is a bit early. Once we get our malls back, I plan on paying RRF a little visit and having the BBB around would be great.

I still consider myself a part of the BBB, and I still recognize other vets of the Battle of Blackmore by the BBB badge in their profiles. The Battle of Blackmore is history (at least until BoB 3, that is), but the Bastards live on, don't we?
