i'm really only poking my nose around here because with wulgar MIA and padre's lax sysoping (is that even a word)

Hey, I just wandered by the band a few moments ago on my way from the -woohoo! up and running again!- Library to- Hey, that reminds me, what happened to the no-kill zone that was the library? I know that obviously it was ignored, but how did that come to pass or does it matter?

I morn for the no barricade or kill policy but the library has had to impose stricter rules since he has been there. When he logs on he can take down the cades by himself from EHB, then groan in helpers and the Quartly is taken.and without sufficient survivors inside usually falls and is ruined in a day. As is happening now even as we speak .  7 zeds inside including the zerger. I shall slam the doors and throw up a cade or so while the AP lasts ...then.... I'll probably get eaten but I'm kinda hard to digest and it will take a lot of his stamina to get rid of me  |

So I see. Also, the NT building I stupidly hid in while building up the AP for another syringe has now fallen (approx 3 hrs ago). 15 zeds there now. Damnit. Back to Swansborough Park I go.
If anyone needs a quick stick (after I get one myself), my IM info is here. Provided I'm alive when/if you/anyone drop me a msg, I'll lend a hand when and where I can, though I'm pretty poorly stocked ATM. Still. I got a couple of needles and a couple of FAKs. What more can a doctor ask for, eh?

you know if you reported them to the zerg list you could being in a swarm or zerg hunters.
i personally think you guys should let the zergs have the place and go have fun somewhere else.
fighting them is pointless.
the zergs ruined my fun in roftwood and miltown.
and the only way to "beat" them is to move someplace else.
if roftwood ever gets stable again the locals will clean the place out. but with players numbers dropping. i doubt you will ever have the man power to hold the QSG on your own for long.
enjoy the game while it lasts.
roll with the punches people. we are still the QSG no matter where we are in malton.

True the QSG could move or go on tour. as we have done in the past. A lot of things to do in Malton.It's the people in UD that make it interesting as opposed to other games . There is an almost visceral pleasure in coordinating/cooperating with others over thousands of miles and many languages and beliefs. There can, however, be only one Ron Burgandy, Blackmore ,Quartly library,Caiger Mall,etc. No matter into what paradigms the game evolves .the future is always interesting and a new challenge or legend in the making. I feel that is the fascination of this game ,much like the old D&D games with nothing but a paper, map , a few pencils and our imaginations. (Yep, I used to play back then) A whole gaming Empire evolved from that, but the fun was the imagination and RP with a few rules and an almighty DM (Kevan?) in whose worlds we played. |
