Revive yourself--with news! The Malton Gazette published its first issue on 4/16. Please take a read now, and daily/weekly/monthly as often as you do or don’t want. We’re trying to be both useful and as entertaining as UD; also, there's a free classifieds section.

That said, it’s still in beta and could use some partners. Namely, contact [e-mail] to draw/interview/help/advertise, but especially cover news.

Lastly, posting here because it’s full of lively UD newspeople, if you ever have a full battle (or local news at all), and in particular some kind of showcase event (game/performance, etc.), write it up or just notify the [e-mail] to get featured.

cool beans... i really don't have the time or staff to keep the mirror running if i update weekly... but monthly is doable... the Gazette is kinda like a real time news flyer/pamphlet... their like Malton's Associated Press...

Actually, how about all the newspapers set up an Malton Associated Press Newswire Page, where news can be posted by different sources.

The most I can guarantee is to keep you up to date on what I'm doing if you ask, but other than that I don't really think I scout enough to be much use and I don't really have the energy to write articles, even though some of my posts are article length like the one on the brainstalk forums about retaking caiger.
