I'm not stating anything new here but reading over some of these threads both made me feel unlearned and somewhat saddened by the intelectual demise of the forum.
I still love this place and it's great for in game uses, but the other side of things has been in decline for a long time.
I was reading a book by Jared Diamond about collapse being the natural order of civilizations throughout time and wondered if that was the same for all things.
Sorry to put a downer on our glorious forum

I hear you, man. Not sure what can be done about it. UD has certainly seem its heyday come and go, but the game is still fun to play. The various forums as well as the wiki all reflect this.

I'm not stating anything new here but reading over some of these threads both made me feel unlearned and somewhat saddened by the intelectual demise of the forum. There is no demise ....Thank goodness ..someone has been wise enough to leave all this wonderful creativeness for us to enjoy and aspire to....learn from... Just as I look forward to more .... There are always people who amaze me with their wit and talent and are happy to let us share some of it. That is the fascination of UD and this forum for me. The perimeters are scant but the talent is large..... And you never know when you will run in to a great laugh or adventure.

Everything falls apart eventually, but only if you let it.

Actually, some days, I kind of look forward to falling apart.

If something falls apart, we can rebuild it as we see fit.

One of the wisest things anyone could say is "I don't know what to believe".
