So, is Nicholas up? I heard the Greenhow is up at least, but I don't know, since most of the people from the RCC is in Pegton atm. Maybe we should gather there instead, I'll mentinon it and tell you if we come over there or not. Good luck anyhow! Nichols is currently standing, though there are 100+ zombies chewing on the 'cades, at the moment. Also, that dried up turd we're all so fond of? The zeds evicted us, again. I'll be in Yeoman waiting for a needle...

Blackmore is fully operational with a good pile of survivors alive inside and in surrounding repaired/'cadded bldgs.
It's ours once more Bastards! Let's keep it this time!

If you need to fall back, Jazz, do it. We don't want you to wind up like your namesake in the new Transformers movie, you know. You sleep in Ridleybank, though, and you're never certain to be alive when you wake up. That's just the nature of bein' a Bastard. Good luck.
Just fell asleep in a VSB building in the middle of the 'bank after clearing, fixing, and starting to 'cade three buildings there. We might want to build up those 'cades in preparation for the 5th of November. Of course, the Blackmore is still swarming with zeds (27 of them, at present). It'll take a concentrated push to kick them out and light our beacon of hope and defiance.

Mhr? = HELP ME!!! Graaaah! = Time for the zombiefied Bastards to help the living by ZKing the RRF (with eachother's names in our contacts list we should know who not to hit) I've toyed with that idea in the past. It goes something like this: Sometime when we all die in the Blackmore, we should stay there and keep fighting zombies as if some part of our undead brains remembers that the building is ours and that we should keep all the zombies out. We hole up in the Blackmore and kill any (non-ally) zombies inside. If the battle cools off in there, we start roving the survivor-held areas (Nichols, Went NT, etc...) attacking mobs of zeds wherever there's a significant siege. If the 'cades of a building come down, we swarm inside after the zombies, Mrh to let survivors inside know we're friendly, and tear enemy zeds down to a couple HP (so the survivors get the headshot on them) before retreating outside to chew on the zeds out there. We'd be a kind of anti-Gore Corps (though admittedly not nearly as effective, as we wouldn't have shotguns, and our prey can just stand up). Speaking of which, I just got PKed by one of them in Nichols. I guess that means they recognize me, now... They can't keep me out of Ridleybank when I barricade myself into a building by myself, so they kill me in Nichols, instead. Ha! Back to Yeoman I go.

I don't think we'll have total control of the blackmore building for a very long time, we hold it every so often, but inevitably lose it and retake it after a regrouping, though i'd like to be there when it happens.

I might be wrong about it, but I'm pretty sure one of the shorter lived NMC groups was based around this tactic. I think it was discovered that it's just not as effective or efficient as getting revived and barricading. But you know, whatever blows your horn ;D

It doesn't take a statistician to see that you're right, Priz. Even a maxed out zombie is going to take at least 13 AP to take down a starting zombie at full HP (assuming a 100% success rate on a 4 HP bite, which isn't possible), and that zombie is going to spend a maximum of 10 AP to stand up, afterward. It's a total waste of AP.
Nevertheless, the idea, however silly, amuses me on some level. It's bad strategy but amusing RPing. It would probably get crushingly dull, after a little while, though.
It's not so different from my zombie hit squad idea. Basically, we choose some poor newbie zombie without Lurching Gait or Ankle Grab and just hunt him relentlessly because he can't escape as quickly as we chase him. Metagame organization would be necessary to make sure the chase continues on. This one is mean-spirited but still fairly challenging, as tracking down anyone who keeps running away from you isn't exactly easy, in this game. For extra difficulty, tag one of the leaders of a zombie mob who is following a set path (such as the Big Bash or Mall Tour) and ZK him as much as possible. Technically, he can run, but he might not be inclined to do so because it would mean abandoning his mob. This is probably not the way to win zombie player friends, though, as it *is* a form of griefing. Also a complete waste of AP - minimum 15 AP to kill a zombie who can spend 1 AP to stand up.

For some reason, I find that concept alot more entertaining than it should be.
Organizing something like that with a group our size probably wouldn't be too too difficult, after all even if they aren't all looking for a specific person, we have quite a few regular posters here that spend time all over the city, and Malton isn't as big as you'd think.

I can see something similar as a game of hide-and-seek played by adorable young zombies, as well. One zed is it and has to stay alive as long as possible while everyone else is trying to kill it. Whoever lands the killing blow is it next. Again, some metagame organization would be necessary, but it could be a fun game to play in some mostly deserted suburb where the players are slightly less likely to be headshot by passing survivors.

please note that the tactic of zombiefied bastards attacking enemy zeds is only a last resort tactic for when you're desperate and can't find a revive
like me I'm moving around the Blackmore attacking zeds until I can get a revive
a few times I've attacked cades to try and get a revive but got them down to loosely and APed out so my only other option is to weaken them as a zed until you come to me and retake the Blackmore
