After I got eaten in the Blackmore at the end of our tea party with Red Rum, I came down to Yeoman Park for a revive. I stuck around Went NT for a bit to return the syringe karma, but just when I was ready to leave, an adorable little mob of zombies showed up and convinced me to stick around and help defend the building from them.
A couple days later, and I find myself surrounded by Bastards. It seems we all had the same idea at the same time! With members who read each other's minds, who needs to plan a meeting place and strategy? For any Bastards who might have missed the message from Control, though, Went NT is currently the cool place to die defending. Bring guns and FAKs. We could also use a genny and fuel, right now.
Yeoman Park is the local RP. Make sure you have all the Bastards on your contacts list so you can identify them in the crowd of rotters that frequent the place.

Hi Scott. I know you.
I have enjoyed seeing bastards helping us out at Went. You guys are some of the best of the best. Went has been doing very well during this seige which has been going on through out the entire month of September. Its a tribute to everyone working together.
We had a very rough night last night. It got down to 35S/30Z inside.
Stop by and help us out (and make it quick if you don't mind.)
See you there.

Hi Scott. I know you. I have enjoyed seeing bastards helping us out at Went. You guys are some of the best of the best. Went has been doing very well during this seige which has been going on through out the entire month of September. Its a tribute to everyone working together. We had a very rough night last night. It got down to 35S/30Z inside. Stop by and help us out (and make it quick if you don't mind.) See you there. It's always an honor to serve with the Zone Defenders. It has indeed been an interesting siege - on par with some of the better Blackmore battles, in terms of the discipline and organization of its defenders. Sorry if I wasn't there to defend Went last night. I've been restocking on ammo and FAKs for the last day or two. Went is still standing, though the zeds were clawing at the 'cades when I APed out (VHB, for now). Based on the chatter in the mall, I get an interesting picture of last night's events. My information might be completely wrong (or at least poorly researched), but what I suspect happened is this: 25 zeds jumped the 'cades in NW Nichols (the weakest corner). This created a small panic whose ripples were felt in Went, many of whose defenders withdrew to repel the attack on the mall. Supported by these reinforcements, the survivors in Nichols quickly eliminated these zombies. As it turns out, the zeds that broke in represented a significant majority of the total number of zeds still besieging the mall, so it would appear that this was a coordinated attack. While the survivors aided Nichols, the 150+ zeds outside Went pushed their way inside it and inflicted significant casualties on the survivors inside, bringing it to 35S and 30Z. In most sieges, this would have been the survivors' signal to retreat, but the defenders in Went didn't. They pulled the 'cades back together and worked to eliminate what zeds they could. With Nichols secure again, survivors moved to defend Went. By the time I got there this afternoon, there were no zeds inside, the 'cades were VHB, and nearly all the defenders were at maximum HP. And those few who weren't at full HP were being healed even as I fought a 'cade war with the zeds outside. Was the Nichols break-in a deliberate feint aimed at distracting Went's defenders long enough to take the NT? Or was the Went break-in the accidental consequence of a well-organized but futile attempt to take Nichols? Either way, it made for an exciting night...which I spent searching for FAKs and ammo. *sigh* Maybe next time...
