well, we just need a revive plan that ideally confuses our enemy, rids rotters at revive points, and doesn't encourage combat revives. it's one of those things that easier said than done. I think that there's a lot of unaffiliated people who hear about something and then come to help, like blackmore, or the Caigar mall sieges. There were days at Blackmore that I did nothing but barricade and heal, nessisary and boring. If I had known that there was going to be a coordinated effort to rid Margery of rotters, I would've joined in, but I had no way of knowing unless it was spoken or grafetti'ed, and either way will let spies know. if we code it too deeply, then the survivor that doens't want to metagame gets left out. Even if it's something as simple as marking the real revive point with something like, "stand here if you're a rotter" it's going to confuse people. and I don't want that.
I think I'll sleep on it...

i find just firing pot shots at zeds when you run through un-caded areas is pretty fun Flaregun kills number one!

well, just have somebody announce the revive spot for the day. Let everybody know that it changes daily (or maybe ever two days, to give kids a lbit of chance to stay in one area and not waste ap walking to the new point every day.)
graffiti it or whatever, and spread by word of mouth. make sure you include the date of the revive point. that way zeds dont ever know where it's going to be. or you could have 2 points at a time and rotate them both to new points every day. would require a lot for rotters to keep up with 2 changing RPs. just make sure you get the word out to the survivors who are dying. just hve to make sure you announce it a lot. :S don't know if it'll work all that well till we try it, and of course i'm sure it'd have to be ironed out some, too. :S
my 2 cents.

That will confuse the hell out of independent people there as well as the zombies. A daily revive rotations is too much. Maybe every 4 days -1week, but not a day.

I say we just stick with one, scan people, then you don't waste AP, also, get UD tool and collorize everyone in big groups and add them to your contacts so you can spot them, that way you can revive better, also add all PKers to your UD colorizer (usually as red) and add to your contacts so you know NOT to revive them.

Why don't people use the CDF revive tool? It's already set up, and you don't have to register to use it, just put your name and coordinates in, it takes about five seconds. cdf.aypok.co.uk/revive_points/You spray the URL at the revive point and tell people waiting to be revived to use it. Then before you leave the safehouse you can check who is there and add them to your contacts. If there's someone standing there who has brain rot or otherwise shouldn't be revived you just ignore them. No wasting AP scanning, no worries about brain rotters. If you want to add a revive point I suppose you just put in a request. It makes a huge difference to a groups AP conservation. It was one of the strongest factors in Giddings winning against the Big Bash a while back, imo. If you got killed you would be revived in an hour or two if you waited at Margery Ave and added your char to the revive tool, as opposed to 5 - 24+ hours.

okei, how's this for a revive policy... if you haven't registered with the DEM or the CDF, you shouldn't expect a revive. (I was going to say "you will be shot" but that's a lil harsh) And I doubt any zed w/ brainrot would go and link their profile up, but if one does...

I figure we should fix the malls in the order they're spread out: Ackland, Nichols, Hildebrand, Tynte. We don't want to wind up in Tynte right before the 5th though - it's twice as far from the Blackmore as Nichols is. Surely Nichols should be the last mall we take, so that it can be a jumping off point for retaking the Blackmore? I agree, the plan sounds great and like lots of fun but Nichols should be the last mall on our list. I don't want to miss out on the 5th. I'm in Ackland now helping our where I can. Lets get this show on the road people.

If you want to make reviving easier, just add as many people to your contacts list as you can. You don't have to know them, just go through whatever building we're holding and click on people one by one. If you keep your internet history, you'll be able to tell which ones you've already clicked on, since the link comes up in another color. That makes it easier; you can see who is new each day.

Isn't there a limit to how many people can be in your contact list? How many is it?
I'm having trouble with revives, too. Tried both Dem and CDF tools, but the wait has been several days for each despite trying to locate revive points that are supposed to be live. I'm shuffling to a safehouse I read about now in order to try to get a revive there and join that group.

I'm hiding out in Barrville still. I just went in and checked on Blackmore. It has 22 zombies inside. Just thought I would report that.
