I'm sitting down with with Sirens of the notorious PKer group, RedRum, thanks for being here. Okay first question, Why Killing Fellow survivors without cause?
Why not?--SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
How did you come to the helm of RedRum? and furthermore, are you the leader, or is it still Z?
I have no idea. One moment I'm running around with this merry band of psychos, the next moment the original leader is no where to be found. I didn't want everyone to just give up and run off, so I tried to keep things going. Next thing I know, I'm being hailed at the leader! Go figure.--SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
You're one of, if not the most prominent female players of UD, what has been your experience with the overwhelming male population of UD? furthermore, is it all the testosterone that made you turn Pker?
That really means little to me, though I occasionally find it ironic that some of the most successful groups, while founded by men, are currently led by women. As for what caused me to go PKer, I'd have to say it was ungodly boredom that led me to do it.--SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Believe it or not, I'm actually new, can ou give me an example of such a group?
Sure. Obviously I'm usually hailed as the leader of Red Rum (Though I maintain there's no actual leaders, just people who take coordinating positions...though I suppose we're changing to actual leaders now), and the Department of Emergency Management is currently led by Kristi of the Dead. There are a few others that I can't think of off the top of my head, though. I guess I did exaggerate a little. My mistake, but I could argue that I see Red Rum and DEM as being a couple of the most successful groups in their respective categories. --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
On the same train of thought, I have heard females constantly complain about being asked for pictures on forums, has this been a problem for you, and if it has, how do you respond?
Nope, hasn't been a problem, and as far as I'm aware, my friends haven't had that issue either. I guess most of the men in the forums I frequent don't think with their dicks quite as much as the stereotype--SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Clearly you haven't been around NMC much. Anyway, why aren't you ever on the NMC boards anymore? We miss you!
I wasn't around there much to begin with, but that's easily explained by the fact that I have trouble keeping up with more than a few forums at a time, and I already have to keep up with several (UD and Non-UD) due to moderator responsibility or group membership. --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
I know RedRum prides themselves on wreaking havoc amongst survivors, yet the redrum map is used by many survivor groups as an invaluable resource (I'd like to thank you for that, its saved my ass on countless occasions) why do you host it publicly?
To attract people to the dark side, of course! Wise woman once said, "You catch more flies with honey!"
You may have a potential alt out of me, give me your best RR sales pitch.
"Join ussssss." As you can see, I don't really have a sales pitch. I'm more of a passive recruiter than an active one. Signature banners and attitude...that kind of thing. Usually, though, if I see someone who's considering a PKer route, I'll point out Red Rum's various departments, especially the one that allows a member to do as they please. I'll also point out, if the person is worried about griefing, that we tend to discourage it, unless someone's being a massive prick, or worse: cheating. --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Did you make said map?
I had a little help with the coding from a friend of mine who doesn't play UD, but I designed all of the new features.--SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
She's beautiful and smart! Are there any other Metagame plans in the chamber (no pun intended) for Miss Sirens?
Well, we've already got the Rouges Gallery in addition to the Malton Map. There's also a Profile Database that I eventually plan to make public, although I might just keep access limited to Red rum members...an incentive for joining --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
You've logged over 200 career kills. Who is the most satisfying victim?
Hmm...I'd have to say Cult, but not by much. Not out of any particular malice, but he and I have been at odds for awhile. We first met when he was PKRU. He tried to kill me, and before giving the finishing blow, he went to track down a quote of mine, I guess to mock me. During that time, I woke up and ran like the wind. He still hasn't caught me. A few months later I came across him, told him "Nothin' but love!" and then PKed him to rub it in. Other than that, there was group of survivors I shot down awhile back, six in a short time!--SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Cult, as in the text rapist? Speaking of text rape, what is your stance on it?
No, that's a common mistake. Cult is a former member of the CDF and is, at worse, as forum spy (though I hear he's quit doing that). You're thinking of Cuit, who uses a capital "i" to make Cult look bad.
To be honest, If I didn't have friends that were bothered by it, I wouldn't care at all. Rape in the real world is a terrible thing. Rape in a fictional medium is no worse than murder in a fictional medium. To get all riled up over in game rape, and yet participate in wanton destruction and homicide in the same game is just plain silly if you ask me. --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Do you see yourself in competition with other infamous PKers such as Pathetic Bill, Goolina, and IamRisen?
Of course not! The posse that slays together, stays together! Although, I guess you don't mean malicious competition, so if there's any competition, it's a friendly one. Unlike the vast majority of survivor groups, I do very little with a sense of malice, and I try to get along with anyone will. Ironic, huh? --SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Do you know pathetic bill personally? If so, how is he out of game?
I chat with one of the Bills on occasion via PM. He's a fairly nice guy, as most PKers tend to be Out of Character. --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
RedRum is a fairly small group, yet are deadly effective (as seen in the valentines day massacre at bale). Are you guys truly that small or do you have connections?
You'd have to define "small". We have at any given time more than 40 active members, and far more on the roster. We have groups dedicated to various aspects of PKing, including reviving our falling comrades. There's also a lot of connections there too. The Bale Mall massacre was committed along side several other PKing groups, and we're going to start advertising Red Rum as a kind of "hub" for PKers. It's been both Karloth Vois and mine's dream to create a kind of empire of PKers and support. --SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, I say small because the stats page says you have 13,
That's because I'm perfectly fine with Red Rum members listing their group affiliations as something other than Red Rum. To many people will take one look your group affiliation and shoot you without second though, and bounty hunters can be annoying enough without our help. There's a roleplay aspect to it too. In character, we're not running around during our off time proclaiming to be cold-blooded killers, for good reason, so why should we let our profiles do it for us? --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
What is RedRum's greatest achievement?
Every new event is usually better than that last one, so I'd definitely say Bale Mall. Our current tally is over 115 survivors in a short time. After that was Giddings Mall, where we wiped our around 50 or more survivors in around ten minutes. However, I wouldn't count either of these by themselves as our Greatest Achievement. I'd say that goes to the uniting of many PKers under a single banner.--SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, now for a hypothetical question: if you were in a building with just Ron Burgundy and Myself, and you only had enough AP/Rounds to kill one of us, who would it be and why?
The random bystander, followed by the blowing of kisses to you both. Just to let you know I had the chance. --SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Hmm, a Cease Fire of some sorts. I'll remember that when/if we meet on the field of glorious battle.
Don't get me wrong. I'm just as likely to go ahead, flip a coin, and plug one of you. Chaos and randomness are my trademarks --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Finally, Dickhole Guy: Great leader or greatest leader ever?
I'll pass. --SirensT RR 21:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Sounds Good, I'll put you down for Greatest ever.
Thanks, but I hardly deserve it. I'm just lucky. --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for taking the time to sit down with us, is there anything You'd like to add?
Eat your vegetables.
...
I suppose I could add the following to everyone: PKers are not the true scum of this game. The true scum (not counting the dirty, dirty cheaters) are those of you who never, ever try playing another side of the game. I've got alts on all sides, and I recommend everyone do the same. On that note, don't think we PKers are leaving any time soon. There have been PKers in UD since the beginning, and they'll be there until the end. --SirensT RR 01:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
